The Suffolk College Link
Students in their final year at Thomas Wolsey need to gain experience outside the school environment. They need to extend their social contacts and become familiar in dealing with a range of new adults. The Suffolk College link takes place on a Wednesday and Friday each week in the final year.
Details of the Link
Students are able to discuss the type of preferences they have and there is some flexibility about their chioce of course. In the past students have taken part in:
* ICT
* Business Studies
* Drama
* Media Studies
A dedicated staff member links up with the students at Thomas Wolsey school on non-college days. If possible students are encouraged to get to College independently, but this is negotiated.
