 Monkeys Class News

Welcome to Monkeys Class! We are aged 4-11. We have complex needs so our time-table has been specially created to match us. We have a lot of structure and routine, sensory input and of course, lots of fun!

Our new ball pool!     


When we came back from half term there was a suprise in our class room! A ball pool...what fun we have had in it, it has helped us with our learning. When we sit, lay or flop in it we can feel the vibrations from the sound source through the balls.

Using our hands. 

Some of us have been practising using our hands to explore different textures.

We have been outside lots this term, in the rain, the wind and even the snow!

During circle time some of us have been learning when to turn the page, and to only turn one page at a time. 

      Fine Motor Skills

During fine motor skills we have been practising holding different objects independently.

   Our weekly party   

Every Friday we have a party! We dance, listen to music, have a disco ball lighting up the classroom and are encouraged to vocalise along to the music. We all seem to love this session!
